Dr. Graf was born in Henrietta,Texas. He is a graduate of Midwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He received his medical degree from Texas Tech University, Lubbock. Texas in 1976, Dr. Graf completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee. He completed his fellowship in Cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Graf was named a Fellow of the American College of Physicians in 1986, and he was a Fellow in the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions.
He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and is trained in all aspects of Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Graf founded our practice in 1982.

Dr. Schechter was born in Orange, New Jersey. He joined Dr. Graf in practice in 1985. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hampshire College in Amherst Massachusetts. Dr. Schechter graduated from the Cayey School of Medicine in San Juan, Puerto Rico with magna cum laude honors. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the South Baltimore General Hospital, a major affiliate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine and his residency in Internal Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospital Program in Houston, Texas. Dr. Schechter studied cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston, Texas where he was awarded the distinction of being the outstanding trainee in Adult Cardiology for the year 1985.

Dr. Turner is a native South Texan, having lived in both Alice and Corpus Christi. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University in 1979. He then served as a Research Associate at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston and later received his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1986. Dr. Turner completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Wake Forest University Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He completed his fellowship in General and Interventional Cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute-St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston, where he was named Chief Cardiology Fellow and Mueller Research Foundation Fellow for 1991.

Dr. Silverman is a native South Texan, having grown up in Corpus Christi and attended King High School. He is a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Medical Engineering. He graduated from Texas Tech University Medical School in 1990, and completed his internship year at Parkland Hospital University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He attended residency training at the University of Texas Houston School of Medicine Associated Hospitals and subsequently completed his fellowship in cardiology at the University of Texas Houston Medical School Affiliate Hospitals and Texas Heart Institute - St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and his interests lie in congestive heart failure, cardiac transplantation, preventive cardiology and cardiac diseases in women.

Dr. Damaraju was born in Hyderabad, India. After graduating as a Valedictorian from both his high school and medical school (JIPMER, India: 1991) he completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the State University of New York. He moved to Baylor College of Medicine, in Houston to complete his residency in Internal Medicine. He was honored as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine in 1995 at Baylor and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He was subsequently trained in Cardiology at Texas Heart Institute-St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston where he also gained the distinction of being the Chief Cardiology Fellow in 1997. He joined our practice in 1999.
He is trained in Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Pacemaker implantation, Echocardiography and Trans-esophageal echocardiography. He is also Board Certified by the American Society of Echocardiography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.

Dr. Badruddin came to our group in 2000 after practicing Cardiology for three years in Victoria, Texas. She graduated with honors from the Aga Khan University medical school in Karachi, Pakistan. Her training in Internal Medicine was completed at the Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals Residency program in Houston where she was honored as the Chief medical resident in 1993. During her Cardiology training at The Methodist Hospital in Baylor College of Medicine, she specialized in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. She devoted time to academic pursuits as well and has several key publications to her credit.
Dr. Badruddin is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology. In addition, she is Board Certified by the American Society of Echocardiography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.

Dr. Berio-Muñiz joined our group in 2006 after completing his training in cardiovascular Diseases at the Veterans Administration Center (VAMC) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He attended the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico. His training in Internal Medicine was also completed at the VAMC, San Juan. He earned the distinction of being Chief Cardiology Fellow in 2005.
Dr. Berio-Muñiz is trained in Echocardiography, Trans-esophageal echocardiography, non-invasive and invasive cardiology diagnostic procedures and diagnostic heart catheterization. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Certified in Cardiology

Dr. Taylor was born in Indianapolis, IN and graduated from Indiana University where he majored in Psychology. He continued his studies at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine, fellowship in Cardiovascular disease, and subspecialty fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Dr. Taylor is board certified in cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, and is also a specialist in hypertension as designated by the American Society of Hypertension. Dr. Taylor also has special interests in structural heart disease, including transcutaneous aortic valve replacement (TAVR), preventative cardiology, population health, and quality improvement.
We see patients in the office who have either been referred by a personal physician or who have been seen previously in the hospital. Our office staff is available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. We see patients by appointment only from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
We ask that all HMO patients be responsible for obtaining their Primary Care Physician (PCP) referral forms prior to scheduling an appointment. We make every effort to honor all time commitments and request that you extend the same courtesy to us. On occasion, emergencies can cause problems, and whenever possible, you will be fully informed if there will be any delays because of this.
